After Being Entangled by Gloomy Male Ghosts 41

Chapter 41

As she was tying up Zhu Ye, Fu Xia thought to herself that although Chen Wang hadn’t intended to teach her the skills of a kidnapper, without that training, she would have just been fumbling with the ropes.

She squatted down and carefully fastened the last knot, securing him tightly to the chair. When she looked up, she saw the young man watching her, his head tilted.

The room’s lighting was dim. His soft, curly blond hair clung to the side of his face, and a layer of mist seemed to veil his eyes. As he watched her, he had a childlike innocence and curiosity.

Zhu Ye blinked. “Senior, my wrists hurt.”

Fu Xia patted his cheek. “Pleading with me is useless, junior.”

He pouted.

With such a handsome face so close, she paused, then pushed herself to her feet.

He’s much cuter when he’s quiet, she thought.

She patted her knees and scanned the room, noticing a large screen on the desk opposite the bed, next to the same type of pills she had seen before. The lighting on the screen was uneven; looking closely, she realized it was the feed from the camera she had covered.

“…You weren’t actually watching a live broadcast that night, were you?”

“Well, you and your senior were under the covers the whole time…” his voice trailed off. The drug was taking effect. His eyes fluttered shut, and he looked like he was about to fall asleep.

Fu Xia shook the bottle and decided to feed him two more, just in case. She pried his mouth open. The drowsy young man obediently tilted his head back, looking at her with pleading eyes. “Can’t you feed me the same way you did before?”

Fu Xia leaned in closer. He instinctively tried to move up to meet her, but the next second, she had popped two small, round pills into his mouth.

“In your dreams.”

The blond-haired young man let out a small sigh and allowed his consciousness to sink into the abyss.

Fu Xia still had work to do. She had locked the door when she came in. His status among the half-breeds seemed to be high, so it was unlikely anyone would force their way in. She hadn’t forgotten that her purpose in coming here was to solve the problem with her blood. If Yan Zhu had been reliable and come to rescue her, she could have been quickly turned into a vampire.

—But seeing as nearly a week had passed without a sign of him, she knew she could only rely on herself.

Unfortunately, humans didn’t have sharp fangs. Her own canine teeth weren’t very sharp; she would have to use a lot of force to break the skin.

First, she wrung out a towel and cleaned the spot where she planned to bite. As she wiped the side of his neck, she thought, Isn’t this just like telling someone to wash their neck and wait for the axe?

After the prep work, she found a stable position, held his shoulders, and bit down.

Humans, after all, don’t drink the blood of their own kind. It wasn’t easy to overcome that mental barrier. And a vampire’s skin seemed tougher than a human’s. She had to bite down hard several times before she tasted a hint of blood.

The second the taste filled her mouth, the person beneath her suddenly stirred.

“What’s the meaning of this? How are you awake so fast?” Is this some kind of cheap drug? Seriously?

His thoughts were still sluggish. He tilted his head. “Because it tickles.”

Fu Xia: …

What a disgrace.

She held his head down, once again exposing his neck to her. The now-awake Zhu Ye didn’t struggle. He just tilted his head, completely surrendering his vulnerable neck to her.

“Hiss…”

Biting the same spot repeatedly, she finally broke the skin. The taste of blood flooded her mouth. The metallic taste was strong and strange.

Perhaps from the sudden pain, he arched his back, and a metal accessory on his hip clanked against the chair. She pressed down with her knee and bit harder, struggling to control him. In the process, she brushed against something hard. She thought it was a weapon in his pocket, but when she looked down, she saw something standing tall and proud next to her leg. His physical reaction had returned faster than his rationality.

…Do all these vampires have some kind of weird kink? Or had they been on top for so long that being bullied by a human was a novel experience?

She mercilessly slapped him. The person tied to the chair instantly tensed, and a dark, wet spot spread across his clothes.

“Pervert,” she said.

He hung his head, panting. “Hah… don’t you like it, senior?”

His healing ability was constantly closing the wound, and she had to bite through the skin again and again. Each time she did, he would deliberately make a sound. Unlike Song Yingxi’s gasps, his voice was deeper, and sensing which tone she liked, he would intentionally whisper in her ear.

“How much blood do you need to drink?”

“Mmm… just drink me dry.”

Fu Xia looked up and saw his brilliant golden eyes staring at her, as if she were the only thing in his world.

“I’m asking you seriously,” she said, her face expressionless. “Or do you want to eat the other half of that bottle on the table?” That drug was much more effective than the one she had brought.

“Will you help me with it then, senior?”

“Just go back to sleep.”

Her mouth was full of the taste of blood, and she was almost getting used to his panting. In the chaos, she even felt a subtle sense of arousal—vampires were, after all, an inherently bewitching race. They could always easily tempt humans.

He licked her lips, which were stained with his blood. “…Do it with me once, senior, and I’ll take you out of here, okay?”

She continued to drink his blood.

“I’m serious, senior—we can leave first and you can pay me back later. Betraying the half-breeds once is no big deal.”

“Then have the half-breeds at the door leave first.”

She got off him, grabbed the communicator from the table, and tossed it to him. She watched as he quickly gave the command. The half-breed on the other end didn’t ask a single question. A soft sound came from the hallway; she guessed they had already left.

She had to go get Song Yingxi. The room where they were being held was less than fifty meters away. They had to meet up before they could run.

Zhu Ye said slowly, “I’m not the only one in charge of the half-breeds, so we have to run fast.”

So, Fu Xia modified the ropes, tying his hands behind his back in a way that was both aesthetically pleasing and secure. Then she led him by a rope attached to his neck, like a puppy. Just in case, she also brought the pills from his room.

“…So you have this kind of kink,” he said.

“So far, only with you.”

Zhu Ye: “…” I feel like I’m going to explode.

She deftly opened the door to the hospital room, quickly called for Song Yingxi, and told him to lead the way out of the hospital.

He was a smart man, as expected. He understood the situation at a glance, gestured for her to follow, and led them to the fire escape.

—Unfortunately, vampires had excellent hearing.

By the time they reached the third floor, the half-breeds were already catching up. In a hurry, she followed him into a utility closet, pulling the quiet Zhu Ye in with her.

The closet was too small. The three of them were practically pressed together. She was sandwiched between two men over 1.8 meters tall and could barely breathe. But the sound of footsteps came from outside, and she could only slow her breathing.

Zhu Ye was in front of her, so close that his… considerable presence was pressed against her.

From behind her, Song Yingxi suddenly whispered, “You’ll come with me to a safe place, right?”

She didn’t understand why he was asking such a question at a time like this. With so many half-breeds chasing them like zombies, the priority was to escape.

But her mouth was faster than her brain. “Of course. We’ll be safe.”

The moment she said it, she felt a sharp, stabbing pain in her temple. She clutched her head and bowed it. When the sudden pain subsided, a cold sweat had soaked her collar.

She looked up and saw Zhu Ye smiling at her.

There was a hint of helplessness in his smile. At some point, he had broken free from the ropes. He raised a hand and loosely wrapped it around her waist. He lowered his head and, as if in an intimate gesture, kissed her earlobe, his movements slow but full of suggestion as he brushed against her.

When their eyes met, he gave her an innocent blink.

He whispered, “Senior, have you never suspected the people around you?”
