Chapter 36: Don’t Bully an Honest Person
Xue Yu left the training grounds, changed her clothes in the dorm, and then headed to Zhou Siyan’s apartment in the Manster Building.
She didn’t knock, but entered the password and fingerprint herself and opened the door.
A foam mat was spread in the middle of the living room. Xue Xiaohai was crawling on the mat, and all sorts of toys were scattered everywhere.
Zhou Siyan was doing push-ups next to the baby. He was wearing only a white tank top. When he lowered his body, the muscles on the back of his hands and back bulged, like a powerful black panther full of strength.
“Mommy.” Xue Xiaohai saw Xue Yu and threw away her toy, crawling towards her.
Xue Yu took off her shoes, sat cross-legged on the foam mat, and scooped up Xue Xiaohai into her arms. “You’ve gotten heavier. Xiaohai, you have to eat a lot and crawl a lot to grow up big and strong, a tall, big baby.”
Zhou Siyan was still doing push-ups. Without looking up, he said in a casual tone, “Sit up here.”
“Where?”
“On my back,” Zhou Siyan said.
Xue Yu sat on his back with the baby. They used to do this often when they were dating. When Zhou Siyan did push-ups, he would always have Xue Yu sit on his back for weight.
At first, she was very nervous, afraid of breaking his back. Later, she found that with the physique of the people in the White Tower, doing push-ups with an adult on their back was a piece of cake.
Xue Yu sat on his back and secretly looked at the lines of his arm muscles. “You haven’t even finished your postpartum period. Do you need to train so hard?”
“I don’t know what a postpartum period is.”
Xue Yu always talked about the postpartum period, but Zhou Siyan still didn’t quite understand what the three words meant.
Zhou Siyan did three hundred push-ups with Xue Yu on his back before stopping and letting her get down with the baby.
He went to the bathroom to take a quick shower before coming out to mix formula for the baby.
Xue Yu sat to the side and watched his skillful movements as he fed the baby. She asked with concern, “Do you usually take Xiaohai to the office when you go to work?”
“Yes.”
Xue Yu: “What if the baby cries?”
Zhou Siyan: “I comfort her.”
Xue Yu: “What if you can’t comfort her?”
Zhou Siyan: “I can.”
Xue Yu: “Will someone suddenly burst into the office?”
Zhou Siyan: “I lock the door.”
Xue Yu nodded. “You’ve worked hard, Xue Xiaohai’s daddy.”
Zhou Siyan: “It’s not hard.”
After feeding the baby, Zhou Siyan took out a new set of water-type combat suit and gave it to Xue Yu. “I couldn’t buy the latest model. This is an old model I found in the warehouse. I’ve modified it a bit myself and added a weapon belt at the waist.”
“Thank you.”
Xue Yu took it. It was similar to the one Mo Li had given her, but the material felt better.
“If you’re not busy tonight, stay and sleep with Xiaohai. She misses you,” Zhou Siyan said, picking up the toys the baby had thrown on the sofa.
Xue Yu: “It’s too risky. If someone finds out, it will be a disaster.”
Zhou Siyan: “No one will find out.”
Xue Yu still disagreed. She had to get up early to train before dawn tomorrow. If she slept here, she would have to get up early to go back to the training grounds. It was too much trouble to go back and forth.
Zhou Siyan didn’t argue anymore, just asked about the baby’s full moon celebration again. It seemed he was determined to have this full moon celebration.
Xue Yu said, “Where on earth did you learn about having a full moon celebration?”
Zhou Siyan: “I read about it in some materials.”
“Little Zhou, I love the child very much, but you also know that the environment is difficult now. What’s the point of doing all these things?”
She held Zhou Siyan’s hand and patted the back of his hand with good intentions. “We’re already walking on a tightrope by secretly raising a child. If you have a full moon celebration, isn’t that like dancing on a tightrope? Why bother?”
The corner of Zhou Siyan’s mouth twitched. He touched the baby’s small, fleshy hand and didn’t reply.
Xue Yu continued, “A full moon celebration is for relatives and friends to come and congratulate the child. We have to hide everywhere to raise Xue Xiaohai. If you have a full moon celebration, who will you invite to drink, who will you invite to congratulate, and from whom will you collect gift money?”
Zhou Siyan was very stubborn. “It’s because no one is coming to congratulate that we have to congratulate ourselves. And aren’t there Feng Qizhou and Mo Li? It won’t be that deserted.”
“Alright, alright. Don’t be anxious. I was just saying.”
Zhou Siyan finally looked up. “If you really don’t want to have it, then forget it.”
“I didn’t say I don’t want to have it. Since you want to have it, then let’s have it.” Xue Yu leaned back on the sofa, her head tilted back. “No matter how hard it is, we can’t let the child suffer. Let’s grit our teeth and give the child a complete childhood.”
“You sound so old and wise,” Zhou Siyan picked up a nail clipper, took her hand, and calmly trimmed her nails.
Xue Yu quietly let him trim them. The only sound was Xue Xiaohai hitting a rubber ball.
Messages kept popping up on the Cloud Sound Box. Xue Yu picked it up and saw that they were all from Feng Qizhou:
Why aren’t you here yet?
Is it so hard to have a sip of milk?
If it’s not convenient for you to come over, I’ll go and find you. The baby is already asleep.
You’re not replying, are you? If you don’t want me and the child, please say so directly. Don’t play the cold shoulder.
Xue Yu replied to him: I’m coming right away.
She stood up and kissed Xue Xiaohai, then said to Zhou Siyan, “I’m going to see Xue Xiaobei.”
Zhou Siyan grunted lightly.
Xue Yu hurried out with the training suit and went to Feng Qizhou’s apartment.
Feng Qizhou seemed to have been lying in wait behind the door for a long time. Before Xue Yu could enter the password, the door opened automatically from the inside. A hand reached out and pulled her in.
Feng Qizhou closed the door and covered her mouth with his palm. “Keep it down. The baby just fell asleep.”
Xue Yu looked at Feng Qizhou. He had probably just taken a shower and was wearing a navy blue silk bathrobe. The belt was loosely tied, revealing a large area of fair and firm pectoral muscles.
She unconsciously stared at his chest and nervously licked her dry lips.
Feng Qizhou pulled her in, sat down on the sofa, and lifted his robe, revealing his chest.
Xue Yu held her breath and looked over. Fortunately, it wasn’t the surging waves she had imagined. It was still the same as before, the contours still looking like the strong pectoral muscles of a man who had trained.
Xue Yu was sure that if Feng Qizhou had revealed a pair of large breasts, she would have turned and run.
“I just squeezed some out. I smelled it, and it should be sweet. I’ve been paying attention to my diet these past few days, eating a lot of sweet fruits. The materials say that sweet fruits can make the milk sweeter.”
Feng Qizhou said to himself, puffing out his chest and leaning towards Xue Yu.
“You’re not going to make me drink it directly, are you?” Xue Yu was startled.
Feng Qizhou: “How else would you drink it if not directly?”
Xue Yu couldn’t accept it. She stood up and said, “Well, Qizhou, since the baby is asleep, I’ll be going back now. You should rest early. If you need anything, just give me a call.”
With that, she took a step, her limbs moving uncoordinatedly as she walked out.
Feng Qizhou gathered his bathrobe, sat up straight, and stared at her from behind like a cold arrow. He said coldly, “Try taking another step.”
Xue Yu turned her head. “Why are you forcing me to drink milk? Put yourself in my shoes. If you were me, could you accept a man doing this to you?”
Feng Qizhou slowly poured half a glass of red wine into a tall glass, held it up, and swirled it. “I’ve even given birth to a child. What can’t I accept? Is this how you’re a mother? You won’t even try the milk for the child?”
Xue Yu sat back down beside him with her head down. “Then you try it. You can just have a taste. It’s your own milk anyway.”
“I can’t bring myself to do it,” Feng Qizhou said frankly.
Xue Yu looked up at him pitifully. “And you’re still forcing me?”
Feng Qizhou smiled and brought the wine glass to her lips. “Have a drink to build up your courage. Just try it. Just a couple of sips. If there’s no problem, I’ll give it to the baby later. It’s for the baby, so there’s no other way. You’ll just have to bear with it.”
Xue Yu downed the red wine in one gulp and then turned to look at Feng Qizhou. “Then can’t you just squeeze it out and let me drink it?”
Feng Qizhou: “It hurts to squeeze. I don’t have a breast pump here.”
“Qizhou, I’m going back to the dorm. I’ll come and see you when I have time,” Xue Yu said, putting down the wine glass and getting up again.
Feng Qizhou grabbed her hand, pulled her down into his arms, lifted his bathrobe, and pressed her face into his chest.
Xue Yu struggled violently, her pig-like squeals echoing in the room.
Feng Qizhou loosened his grip slightly and covered her mouth. “Xiaobei just fell asleep. Keep it down.”
Xue Yu wanted to say something. As soon as she opened her mouth, Feng Qizhou held her head and pushed it in.
He held the back of Xue Yu’s head, not letting her struggle, and held her back with his other hand, saying in a low voice, “What’s there to be shy about? Didn’t you enjoy it before?”
Xue Yu completely gave in and took a sip.
She had thought it would have a milky smell. Fortunately, it wasn’t as fishy as she had imagined. It was slightly sweet with a creamy taste. She could accept this taste.
She let go and said, “It’s sweet, similar to the taste of formula. The baby should be able to accept it.”
Feng Qizhou said, “It’s a little full and uncomfortable. You should drink it all. Otherwise, I definitely won’t be able to sleep tonight.”
Xue Yu changed direction and buried her head…
Feng Qizhou leaned back, his two arms spread out on the back of the sofa, his head also leaning back. The beautiful curve of his fair neck was arched, his prominent Adam’s apple constantly bobbing up and down. He couldn’t help but let out a muffled groan. “Xue Yu, that feels so good.”
Xue Yu could feel a very small, slight electric current coming from Feng Qizhou’s body, which was transmitted to her.
This small current did not cause her any pain, but it felt numb and strange.
The current was coming from Feng Qizhou’s body. She didn’t know how much pain this current would cause him.
Xue Yu quietly raised her head to observe Feng Qizhou’s expression.
He was frowning, his handsome eyebrows tightly knitted. His petal-like, tender lips were bitten red, and he had even bitten them until they bled. The blood stained the corner of his mouth, his Adam’s apple was constantly bobbing, and his chest was rising and falling violently.
There wasn’t much milk. Xue Yu only took a few sips before it was gone.
She sat up, leaned closer to look at Feng Qizhou, and patted his face. “Hey, don’t you die of pleasure.”
Feng Qizhou’s body was still trembling slightly. He closed his eyes and relaxed his jaw. His lips were bitten raw.
It took him a long time to recover.
Xue Yu specifically reminded him, “If you’re going to feed the child, you shouldn’t let her drink directly. You’re scaring me.”
Feng Qizhou sat up straight, slowly tidied his messy bathrobe, wiped the blood from his lips with his thumb, and said, “How could I feed the child directly? I can’t cross that psychological bottom line. If I’m going to feed her, I’ll squeeze it into a bottle.”
“Then you still made me drink it directly!” Xue Yu was angry.
Feng Qizhou raised an eyebrow and smiled, his peach blossom eyes filled with provocation. “I’m just bullying an honest person. What can you do?”
He took Xue Yu’s hand and squeezed her fingertips.
“Alright, alright. Don’t be so old-fashioned. Didn’t you enjoy it?”
“I added a spiritual power conversion agent to the lactation-inducing drug. If it works, after you drink the milk, you can directly absorb spiritual power from my body. This is all in preparation for your competition the day after tomorrow. Don’t take advantage and then complain.”
Xue Yu didn’t understand all these complicated technical terms from the White Tower. “I don’t understand, but it sounds very perverted.”
“As long as I understand.”
Feng Qizhou stood up, found a test kit, took Xue Yu’s hand, and pricked her fingertip without warning, squeezing out a drop of blood into the test kit.
“I’m also doing an experiment. I’ll take a blood sample first, and then you can come back tomorrow night for another one. Then I’ll do a blood test comparison to determine if the milk can really transmit spiritual power.”
He put away the test kit and continued, “I’ve only seen it in materials. It’s said that in the past, when it was still possible to have children, mothers could transmit spiritual power to their children through breastfeeding.”
“I really have to thank you,” Xue Yu’s tongue unconsciously slid around in her mouth. The faint sweet, milky taste still lingered.
To avoid being forced to drink milk by Feng Qizhou again, Xue Yu quickly went to the bedroom to check on the sleeping Xue Xiaobei, and then fled in a panic.
She left the Manster Building and ran towards the training grounds.
A magical power was surging in her body. It was very familiar, like the feeling of Xue Xiaohai transmitting Zhou Siyan’s spiritual power to her when she was still in his belly.
Could Feng Qizhou’s experiment have been a success? While feeding her milk, did he also transmit spiritual power to her?
Xue Yu did indeed feel a clear increase in her spiritual power, but her heart still felt strange.
It was as if a demonic voice was shouting in her mind.
You drank Feng Qizhou’s milk. You were breastfed by Feng Qizhou. Hehe…
Xue Yu held her head and ran forward.
This matter had to be kept a secret. Zhou Siyan and Mo Li must not know about this. If they found out, she would never want to see anyone again for the rest of her life.
The next day, Xue Yu received a piece of great news.
The official competition was about to start tomorrow, and a girl had taken the initiative to find her, wanting to form a sisterhood with her.
She said that they would fight as a team, first accumulating points as a team, and then participating in the individual competition later.
Team battles were rare in the White Tower’s promotion selection competition.
Everyone’s spirit bodies had never had a team spirit body, so it was a difficult thing to coordinate in battle.
This time, Xue Yu’s Blueberry had made friends everywhere, which gave several girls an opportunity.
They wanted to use Blueberry as the center, combine everyone’s spirit bodies, and try a team battle.
Xue Yu was so happy she was on the verge of tears. This good-for-nothing who had always been forgotten in the corner had actually been approached by someone to form a team.
Without any hesitation, Xue Yu nodded and agreed!
Including Xue Yu, there were a total of six girls. They formed a sisterhood.
Xue Yu’s spirit body was a seahorse. The other girls’ spirit bodies were a Turritopsis dohrnii, a swordfish, a shortfin mako shark, a whitetip shark, and a narwhal.
These spirit bodies had already gotten along very well with Blueberry.
That day, they tried a team battle.
As expected, their efficiency doubled. When passing through the underwater whirlpools and undercurrents, all the spirit bodies gathered together under Blueberry’s leadership and easily passed through the giant whirlpools.
After training a few times, everyone came out of the water. The girls sat by the poolside to rest.
The captain, Ning Ting, bought everyone drinks and quietly nudged Xue Yu’s arm. “Hey, why is Youke’en always staring at you? I’ve noticed it several times.”
Xue Yu’s blood ran cold. “I don’t know. I’m not familiar with him.”
Another girl leaned over and said, “Is it because you beat him last time, and he’s not reconciled?”
Xue Yu shook her head and said nothing.
In the evening, Xue Yu went to see Feng Qizhou again. Feng Qizhou took her blood and also gave her a quick physical examination.
The result was something she didn’t know if it was good news or not.
Feng Qizhou’s milk could indeed transmit spiritual power. After Xue Yu drank it once, her spirit body had improved greatly.
“You’re competing tomorrow. You should have some more tonight,” Feng Qizhou said with a serious expression, his usual meticulous doctor’s demeanor.
“I’d rather not,” Xue Yu said, backing away in pain.
“No? Are you happy being a good-for-nothing for the rest of your life?”
Feng Qizhou’s eyes were sharp. He led her into the inner room, his artistic fingers unbuttoning his shirt, and forcibly pressed Xue Yu’s head into his chest.
Xue Yu was forced to eat. On her way past the hospital, her face was buried in a large chest. She resisted desperately to no avail and could only eat her fill.
When she returned to the dorm, she discussed the next day’s battle plan with her sisterhood again before falling into a deep sleep.
The next day, everyone arrived at the training grounds together.
The training grounds had been set up in a competition mode, and there were many spectators.
The seats were filled with leaders from various departments who had come to watch the competition and also to select talent.
Both Zhou Siyan and Feng Qizhou had come.
Xue Yu hadn’t expected that the elusive Mo Li had also returned. He was wearing a mask and standing in a corner, as straight as a bamboo.
The preliminary round was about to begin. Xue Yu saw Mo Li and waved at him.
Mo Li nodded at her, his eyes gentle.
After putting on her combat suit, Xue Yu joined her sisterhood.
The captain, Ning Ting, said, “The first stage is an obstacle course. We will follow the team plan from yesterday and help each other pass. No one is to be left behind.”
Xue Yu nodded firmly. “Okay!”
Blueberry circled proudly above Xue Yu’s head, blowing a stream of bubbles.
There were still ten minutes before they entered the arena.
Feng Qizhou came to Xue Yu’s side and said faintly, “Come over for a moment. I have something for you.”
“What is it?”
“Something to replenish your energy. You’ll know when you come over.”
Xue Yu followed Feng Qizhou into the medical room on the side of the arena. As soon as she entered, Feng Qizhou locked the door and began to unbutton his shirt.
“Bro, you’re at it again!”
Xue Yu really wanted to escape. It wasn’t that she couldn’t accept drinking milk, but she found it psychologically difficult to drink it directly.
Feng Qizhou pulled her back. “Why is it so hard to have a sip of milk? Hurry up. Don’t waste time.”
Xue Yu was half-resisting, her face pressed into his chest.
When the two of them came out of the medical room, they saw Zhou Siyan standing outside, his expression cold and stern, his eyes flashing with an inscrutable emotion. He first looked at Xue Yu, then at Feng Qizhou. “What did you give her to eat?”
Xue Yu hurriedly wiped her mouth with the back of her hand.
Feng Qizhou was calm and composed. “Just a little energy supplement.”
Zhou Siyan knew that Feng Qizhou loved to do all sorts of drug experiments. His voice was laced with a stern warning. “Don’t give her any of those strange drugs. Her body can’t handle it.”
Xue Yu thought to herself, My body can handle it, but my mind can’t.
“I know what I’m doing,” Feng Qizhou said, striding out.
