The Alluring Favorite in the Eldritch God’s Otome Game [Non-human] 44p1

Chapter 44: The Vampire’s Prey (44p1)

Yu Jiao leaned against the werewolf’s embrace, Yu Jiao’s face tense.

Yu Jiao and the werewolf stared at each other.

In the standoff, the blood from the various wounds on Yu Jiao’s body was slowly trickling out.

Perhaps it was because Xie Ning’s nails were special, or perhaps there was a problem with Yu Jiao’s own constitution, but the wounds showed no signs of healing. Only the gash on the side of Yu Jiao’s neck, which the werewolf had licked, had stopped bleeding.

This only made the other places sting even more unbearably.

Yu Jiao hesitated.

As if sensing Yu Jiao’s emotion, the werewolf lowered its back and head and looked at Yu Jiao like a big dog. The werewolf’s golden, beast-like eyes seemed to be filled with a brilliant, fierce light, a gentle sea, and soft sand.

“…”

Those eyes were so clear that Yu Jiao felt the werewolf was just a simple little animal.

…Yu Jiao decided to let go of her human shame.

Yu Jiao looked around. This was a blind spot for the surveillance. A few crow carcasses lay on the ground in the distance, likely dealt with by the werewolf.

That saved Yu Jiao the trouble of being spied on.

“Alright.”

The young woman sighed helplessly and reached for the zipper at her side.

Yu Jiao turned her head. Yu Jiao’s long neck was covered by a white choker, stained with blood. Yu Jiao was like a creation of red and white. Yu Jiao’s long, blood-stained white hair fell, and there was a thin wound on her snowy cheek.

At this moment, Yu Jiao’s long eyelashes were slightly lowered, like a defiled, holy statue, or a compassionate angel of slaughter.

Yu Jiao was focused on taking off the complicated dress and didn’t see the golden, beast-like eyes, which Yu Jiao had praised as clear and simple, flash, their gaze shifting guiltily.

After taking off the tattered dress and trousers, all that was left was a short undergarment that barely covered Yu Jiao’s body and the troublesome choker. A large expanse of crisscrossing, thin wounds covered Yu Jiao’s delicate, pale skin. Yu Jiao pressed her smooth skin against the werewolf’s blood-stained mane, creating the illusion of an intimate embrace.

Yu Jiao gathered her long hair and looked at the werewolf, which was like a stone statue.

“I’m ready.”

Though the choker was torn, the array was still active. Yu Jiao couldn’t take it off and could only make a breathy sound.

“I’ll have to trouble you.”

The young woman tilted her head up, her body nestled softly in the werewolf’s embrace, like a sacrificial lamb.

And the werewolf, at this moment, had become a stone altar in a temple, holding the sacrifice, rigid and yearning.

“…”

The werewolf lifted its thick, beastly claw and cautiously pressed it against Yu Jiao’s bare shoulder. The werewolf tilted its head and leaned in. Before the werewolf could extend its tongue, its breath and fur touched Yu Jiao’s smooth skin.

The unexpected tickle made Yu Jiao’s breath catch, and Yu Jiao straightened her back.

A strand of hair slipped down and landed on Yu Jiao’s tense neck, like a weak resistance.

The werewolf paused and, considerately, hooked the strand of hair behind Yu Jiao’s ear with its claw. However, the cold tip of its claw accidentally brushed against Yu Jiao’s sensitive skin, making Yu Jiao shiver.

Yu Jiao closed her eyes tightly, her brow furrowed, as if she were preparing to endure some kind of torture.

With Yu Jiao’s vision dark, any touch or sound made Yu Jiao like a frightened bird. Waiting became an agony. Yu Jiao couldn’t help but urge, “Hurry up— Mmph!”

Unexpectedly, the familiar sensation came again.

The werewolf gently licked the long wound on the side of Yu Jiao’s neck, from her collarbone to behind her ear.

Yu Jiao’s long eyelashes trembled.

Yu Jiao suddenly felt a little resentful: If the choker hadn’t been broken, then I wouldn’t have to endure this now, and I wouldn’t be able to make a single sound.

One gentle lick after another, but from a rough tongue, the texture of which massaged the stinging pain of the wound away.

The touch was a lingering warmth, and the departure was a fleeting coolness.

“…”

The wound on Yu Jiao’s neck quickly healed. Before Yu Jiao could breathe a sigh of relief, the werewolf continued to move down, advancing the treatment.

Yu Jiao immediately held her breath.

Yu Jiao felt like a cub, being licked clean, or a delicacy, being tasted over and over.

Though it was a gentle and proper licking of her wounds, it was like a frog in slowly boiling water.

Yu Jiao was on the verge of being boiled to death.

“…Is it almost done?” Yu Jiao asked, opening her eyes.

The werewolf’s bright golden eyes had, at some point, turned a dark gold. The werewolf shook its head, and, with restraint, took Yu Jiao’s ankle, lifting it as if to signal.

—That was the longest and deepest wound on Yu Jiao’s body, stretching from her calf to the inside of her thigh.

“Uh, I can just go to the infirmary and bandage this myself.”

Yu Jiao pulled her foot back, but to her surprise, the werewolf held on even tighter.

The werewolf shook its head seriously and, gently but unyieldingly, pulled Yu Jiao’s leg open.

“!”

One by one, the wounds were healed.

Like building a railroad, the werewolf was single-minded, until it reached the end.

“…”

The werewolf suddenly paused, twitched its nose, and looked up at Yu Jiao hesitantly.

Yu Jiao struggled angrily and covered the werewolf’s innocent eyes and wicked nose with her hand, pushing its head away. “It’s healed, it’s healed!”

***

After being licked from head to toe, every wound on Yu Jiao’s body was taken care of and had healed well. Yu Jiao’s strength gradually returned, and her body was as smooth as before. The only awkward thing was that Yu Jiao now exuded the werewolf’s unique, warm, and dry scent.

After putting on her blood-stained and tattered clothes, Yu Jiao turned around and coughed. “Thank you.”

The exceptionally large and tall werewolf blinked its soft, bright, beast-like eyes and suddenly bent down.

The werewolf’s long muzzle approached, and Yu Jiao’s cheek was first warm, then cool.

The werewolf deftly retracted its soft tongue and, without looking at Yu Jiao’s reaction, leaped onto a tree and fled.

Watching the tip of the werewolf’s disappearing tail, Yu Jiao touched her cheek in surprise. Yu Jiao remembered that there was indeed a small wound there.

But compared to licking a wound… it was more like a subtle kiss.

After recovering to her peak state, Yu Jiao immediately rushed to find the five specially-admitted student girls and the class president.

Yu Jiao looked up at the moon and guessed that it was around three or four in the morning. As long as Yu Jiao could hold out until dawn, she would have passed the trial.

However, the school board was clearly unwilling to let Yu Jiao live. A few more crows appeared and circled above Yu Jiao’s head, their strange cries constantly attracting the hunting vampires.

After dealing with these troubles, Yu Jiao entered the teaching building and walked down the empty corridor, a growing sense of foreboding in her heart.

It was too quiet.

Yu Jiao ran to the women’s restroom where they had parted. It was, as expected, empty. A few crimson bloodstains remained on the floor, stretching to the open window.

Yu Jiao’s heart sank. Yu Jiao followed the bloodstains out the window, climbed down a pipe, and chased after the scattered drops of blood.

Yu Jiao arrived at the empty, desolate sports field. In the distance, Yu Jiao could see a few people tied to the podium. It was the five specially-admitted student girls and the male class president.

Like an undisguised trap.

Yu Jiao’s steps paused for a moment, then Yu Jiao walked forward without hesitation. A dozen or so ambushing vampires roared and jumped out. After a fierce battle, Yu Jiao walked, panting, to the podium.

All six of them were unconscious, but thankfully, they were still breathing.

Yu Jiao frowned and squatted down to untie one of them. The moment the rope fell, the round-faced little girl’s eyes flew open, filled with pain. The girl used all her strength to push Yu Jiao and mouthed, “Run!”

The next moment, a muffled sound.

Yu Jiao’s eyes were as if covered by a layer of red cellophane. Something scattered like fireworks. Then, Yu Jiao realized that it was pieces of flesh and blood.

…She had exploded?

Yu Jiao sat on the ground, dazed, her face and body splattered with crimson blood. Yu Jiao belatedly felt the warmth of human blood and the sweet scent hidden within it.

In an instant, Yu Jiao’s head spun, and Yu Jiao collapsed, strengthless.

As Yu Jiao’s vision blurred, she saw a pair of shiny leather shoes, walking over the flesh and blood.
