The Siblings Do Business Together 91

Siblings Work in Business (91)

“One hole, hole-in-one, E-UNG is my black hole, so Black Hole. Haha. Why the sudden shift from ‘E-seul’ to ‘hole’? Parents, E-ji-on, Hobbang Punch? Hobbang Punch? Why—”

Eun-ji was reading the comments when…

“Oh!”

“What? Why?”

I found a decent name!

“2%, E-ji-on, both are good.”

The person who suggested ‘E-ji-on’ then explained their reasoning.

[Because seeing E-UNG turns on our fan hearts! E-ji-on! Love you, E-UNG!]

I especially liked their interpretation of ‘E-ji-on.’

[Boooo~~~]

[That’s boring~~~~~]

But unfortunately, the response wasn’t good.

‘Eung-ga’ was more popular…

Seriously, please stop.

‘Our Eung-gas…’

No matter how I imagined it, it just didn’t work.

More suggestions poured in.

“Tooth Fairy? Why Tooth Fairy?”

[Because the younger sister will knock your teeth out if you mess with her.]

“Hahaha, that’s true.”

Eun-ji burst out laughing, and I chuckled.

[Eung-dap (answer)]

[E-ha (below)]

[E-hu (after)]

There were some decent names, but then…

…things went downhill again.

I ignored the reappearance of ‘Eung-ga.’

Then, after ‘E-ji-on,’ ‘Beauty without reason’ appeared.

[Beauty without reason?]

[ER for short?]

[E-Room?]

[Wait! ER means Emergency Room!]

Oh, not bad.

Finally, some decent suggestions.

[2%]

[E-percent]

[2%, like a tilted E-UNG %]

We held a vote with the most popular suggestions so far.

“‘Eung-a’ is cute!”

“Just be quiet. Stop influencing the fans.”

I was fine with anything but ‘Eung-a.’

But Lee Eun-ji was stubbornly pushing for ‘Eung-a,’ and the competition was fierce.

It was so close that I even knelt down and prayed, despite not being religious.

“Hahahaha, everyone! Lee Eun-ho is kneeling and praying! LOL!”

Lee Eun-ji and the staff laughed, watching me.

The results were revealed.

I wanted to burn them.

‘E-ji-on,’ my initial choice, had been eliminated early on, and the final contenders were ‘2%’ and ‘Eung-a.’

Perhaps because ‘Eung-a’ was Lee Eun-ji’s suggestion…

The 60% who didn’t want ‘Eung-a’ voted for ‘E%.’

I had a sliver of hope.

Many people were also suggesting ‘Emergency Room.’

[The results will be announced shortly.]

[1. E%: 52.1%]

[2. Eung-a: 47.9%]

Yes!

We were saved!

It was a close call, a little over 4% difference.

“Our E! Percenters (E%s)!!!”

Perhaps because he was from Gyeongsang Province, the intonation of ‘2’ and ‘E’ was distinct.

Eun-ho cheered, raising his arms in victory, and ran towards the camera.

Lee Eun-ji slumped to the floor in defeat, like the classic ‘OTL’ pose.

“Get up, Lee Eun-ji. Say hello to them.”

I felt so good.

As Lee Eun-ji reluctantly got up and looked at the chat window, it was, as expected…

…filled with “LOL.”

“Hurry up and say hello to our E-Percenters.”

“Our E…”

Eun-ji’s hand hovered awkwardly over the table.

“Our 2%…”

“It’s E-Percent, not 2%.”

“It’s the same up north!”

“Well, anything is better than what you suggested.”

I was happy with anything but “Eung-a,” whether it was E% or 2%.

“E-Percenters, are you really okay with this name…?”

[Yes]

[Yes!]

[Emergency Room was also good]

[Yes lol]

[Yes]

[No ㅠㅠㅠ Eung-a is cuter]

[Y]

[Yes]

The chat was filled with “Yes” and “LOL.” Although there were a few dissenting opinions and alternative suggestions…

The majority ruled.

“2%…”

“E% -nim.”

I added “-nim” out of respect, but the chat went wild.

“Our E-Percenters, E-Percenters. It’s kind of catchy…”

“Lee Eun-ji.”

“What…?”

“Look at the chat.”

At Eun-ho’s words, I looked up, and the chat was on fire again.

[E-Pro (2%), say you love us!]

[E-Per, say you love us!]

[E%, say you love us!!!]

[2%, say you love us even more!!!]

[Say you love us!!!]

Our fans were really good at pressuring us.

Suddenly asking us to say “I love you” was a bit embarrassing.

“Just say it!”

“Aren’t you going to say it?”

“We love you, E-Percenters!”

I had prompted her, but Eun-ji, as if waiting for this moment, forgetting her earlier sulking, exclaimed cheerfully, even making a large heart shape above her head.

‘How can she do that so easily?’

As I stared at her, impressed, Eun-ji tilted her head and looked at me.

“Lee Eun-ho, you too! Don’t you love our E-Percenters?”

“I do. I love them, but…”

“They’re waiting.”

Unable to resist Eun-ji’s urging, I finally said,

“We love you… E-Percenters…”

My ears were burning.

“One more time! They can’t hear you!”

“I love you, E-Percenters.”

“One more time!”

“E%, I love you! Damn it! Stop it!”

“Hahahaha! Love you, our E-Percenters!”

Eun-ji yelled after me.

Now my face was burning.

And so, E-UNG’s fandom name was decided as E%.

After the embarrassing confession time, the staff got busy preparing for a mukbang (eating broadcast), which was apparently trending these days.

Eun-ji steered the fans towards ‘tteokbokki,’ which she wanted to eat, and that became the menu.

A portable gas stove and ingredients were placed on the table.

The staff’s preparation ended with ‘buying the ingredients’; preparing and cooking them was our job.

And since we were wearing white shirts and black slacks—a monochrome look—the staff even thoughtfully brought aprons to protect our shirts.

“Rock-paper-scissors?”

“Okay.”

We decided to play rock-paper-scissors for both the tasks and the aprons.

The first round was for the apron design.

I focused, trying to read her mind.

I had to be careful…

There were two aprons: a plain navy blue one, and a light pink one with embroidered flowers.

The wall in my room was enough floral decoration for a lifetime.

“Rock-paper-scissors!”

I threw rock.

Eun-ji threw paper.

“Yes!”

I watched the cheering Eun-ji and thought…

Maybe there was still a chance.

“The pink one is pretty.”

“Oh~ then you wear it. Hehe. I’ll take the blue one!”

Damn it.

I ended up with the pink floral apron.

It wasn’t that bad, though, once I put it on.

“Now for the tasks?”

“Yeah.”

“How are we dividing them?”

“Separating the tteok (rice cakes), washing the ingredients, and chopping and prepping.”

“Okay. I’m definitely winning this.”

“Don’t be ridiculous.”

I said that, but Eun-ji’s smile seemed ominous.

“Rock-paper-scissors!”

“Damn it.”

Eun-ho clenched his fist and slumped down.

“Haha. See? I told you I’d win.”

“No way!”

“Way.”

I stood up and looked at the chat window, and there was the reason for my loss.

[Rangi always throws scissors on the second round, even in the YouTube videos lol]

[He does lol]

[Scissors Rangi~~~]

“I always throw scissors on the second round?”

“Ah! You weren’t supposed to tell him!”

I didn’t even know that myself.

Come to think of it, something similar happened before!

“You!”

“Ah, I could have used that for the next 10 years, what a waste.”

“Hey, that’s cheating!”

As our bickering escalated…

The CEO, unable to bear it any longer, discreetly approached and blocked the camera.

As he walked past, the chat was suddenly filled with messages like, “Oh! It’s the CEO! A real-life appearance!”

And Lee Eun-ji and I both felt a stinging pain on our foreheads where the CEO had flicked us.

“I’ll chop. I don’t want to wash the vegetables.”

“You mean ‘ya-chae’…”

“Here we go again. If you say ‘ya-chae’ and ‘chae-so’ one more time, I’ll shove them all in your mouth!”

Eun-ji, not joking, grabbed a bunch of green onions.

She looked like she would actually shove the dirt-covered green onions into my mouth.

I flinched.

As I was about to retort, she glared at me, her knuckles white as she gripped the green onions tighter.

“You told me to wash them. Give me the green onions.”

I shut my mouth.

…I didn’t want to eat raw green onions.

I went to the sink with a staff member holding a sub-camera.

When I came back, I stared at what Eun-ji had chopped on the cutting board.

She had been chopping the fish cakes, and they were… in a bad state.

“Wow, you massacred them.”

Eun-ho’s words made the chat explode.

The fans also seemed to agree, expressing their amusement.

“You’re incredibly bad at this. Just put the knife down.”

“B-But—”

How could you even argue with that?

The fish cakes were more mangled than chopped.

“Give it to me. I already washed the vegetables, so you can separate the tteok.”

“Okay.”

Eun-ji, knowing she messed up, wordlessly handed me the knife.

I quickly chopped the green onions and other vegetables, prepped the ingredients, and mixed the gochujang (red pepper paste), sugar, soy sauce, and other seasonings to make the tteokbokki sauce.

[Wow]

[Rangi is good at chopping too!!!]

[So cool ㅠㅠㅠ]

“I did well tooo…”

Eun-ji grumbled, her lips pouting, as if she was dissatisfied with the chat’s reaction.

Ignoring her, I put all the ingredients in the pot and declared, “Done!”

Now, we just had to wait for it to boil.

[How are you so good at cooking, Rangi?]

“Do I seem like I’m good at cooking?”

[Yes]

[Yeah]

[You seem good!]

I tilted my head.

My cooking was…

…for survival?

It wasn’t restaurant-worthy, nor was it healthy, home-cooked food.

I just replicated the taste of dishes I remembered.

And since I skipped most of the complicated steps, I often missed important parts.

For example, the tteokguk broth from two months ago… Despite the pretty garnishes, it was basically just MSG water.
