Chapter 152:
“Seo Jae-yi.”
Baek Joo-won whispered her name, his voice a sigh, as he devoured her lips.
He was further aroused by her unrestrained response, her eagerness to shed her clothes, regardless of whether they were inside or outside.
“Hae-wi.”
Seo Jae-yi smiled, seeing his unrestrained passion. As Baek Joo-won gazed at her, captivated by her alluring eyes, her fingers traced the sash of his robe.
She kissed the fabric lightly, as if kissing him.
A soft rustling sound.
It was strange. She could hear all sorts of sounds around her – the rustling of leaves, the swaying of plants, the wind whispering through the trees, the gurgling of water – but the sound of his sash coming undone was the loudest, echoing in her ears.
Baek Joo-won couldn’t tear his gaze away as she untied the sash.
“You’re going to burn a hole through me with that stare.”
Seo Jae-yi grinned as the sash came undone completely, revealing his toned chest. Completely captivated by her, Baek Joo-won offered no resistance as she gently pushed him down, her hands on his chest.
Their positions were reversed.
“I can’t help it if you like my lips so much.”
Seo Jae-yi kissed him lightly and then trailed her lips down his sharp jawline, along his neck, to his shoulder.
Baek Joo-won clenched his fists, his muscles tensing, the veins in his arms and neck standing out.
“Stay still.”
Seo Jae-yi’s hand caressed his toned arm as she nibbled on his collarbone.
Her short hair brushed against his shoulder, across his chest, down to his ribs. Baek Joo-won’s breath hitched with every touch.
He was burning. He couldn’t pinpoint the source of the heat; it was even more intense than Seo Jae-yi’s flames.
He gritted his teeth, his body feeling like it was about to turn to ash.
Suppressing his burning desire, Baek Joo-won looked at her, his eyes bloodshot.
Her lips parted slowly, revealing the tip of her tongue, a flash of red that seared itself into his mind.
And then, an overwhelming sensation, so intense that it made his head spin, washed over him. He felt like he was truly disintegrating.
“Huh, Hae-wi.”
How long had he endured, his face half-covered by his hand?
Seo Jae-yi looked at him curiously.
“Your skin is shimmering.”
She touched the exposed skin between his loosened clothes. His smooth, pale skin shimmered faintly with a golden light.
“It’s like you’ve dusted yourself with gold.”
Her hand brushed against his arm, where the shimmering was most prominent. His smooth skin suddenly hardened, and then small, translucent, golden scales emerged.
Seo Jae-yi, startled, quickly withdrew her hand. More scales appeared on his skin, like tiny seashells, shimmering with an iridescent light.
She stared at him, mesmerized, his body covered in shimmering scales.
His long hair spread out on the silk robe, his clothes disheveled by her touch, his eyes flushed, his pale skin bathed in a beautiful, otherworldly light.
It was a breathtaking, almost ethereal sight.
“Are those… scales?”
Seo Jae-yi lightly traced one of the scales with her fingertip.
Thump.
Baek Joo-won, unable to endure it any longer, gritted his teeth, sat up, and then pulled her down, their positions reversed once more.
The difference this time was the intensity in his eyes, burning with a heat far greater than before.
“Jae-yi…”
His voice, thick with desire, sent a shiver down her spine. It was a voice so seductive that even Seo Jae-yi, who rarely felt embarrassed, blushed.
She looked up at him, speechless, as he loomed over her.
Something resembling antlers slowly emerged from his head, his ears pointed like an elf’s, his fangs lengthening.
Seo Jae-yi finally recognized his state, his appearance no longer human.
‘He’s completely lost it.’
Baek Joo-won was completely out of control, consumed by his desire.
Unable to even maintain his human form.
“Ah.”
He looked down at her, his eyes filled with a primal hunger, and then lunged, his kisses rough and possessive.
Seo Jae-yi, momentarily startled by his unrestrained passion, smiled. She found his desperate need for her endearing.
“Hae-wi.”
She whispered his name in his ear, her legs wrapping around his waist, and then she froze.
“…Wait, no, wait a minute, Hae-wi.”
A strange sense of unease washed over her, and she pushed against his shoulders, trying to create some space between them. He was stronger than usual, lost in his desire, but she managed to push him back slightly. And then she saw the source of her unease and was taken aback.
He had been inhuman before, but now he was… something else entirely.
“This… this… is this even… possible…?”
Seo Jae-yi was flustered. She had never been this flustered in her life. Was this even possible? Wasn’t this a bit too much? He hadn’t been like this before.
“…Hae-wi, let’s… calm down. Okay? Calm down!”
Seo Jae-yi, feeling a flicker of fear for the first time, grabbed him by the collar and shook him.
But the monster, whose desire was stronger than any human’s, didn’t listen. It was as if he had lost all reason.
“Jae-yi, it’s okay… It’ll be okay…”
“How is that okay?! That’s not okay!”
“It’s okay. You can handle it.”
Baek Joo-won, as if he had no intention of listening to her protests, silenced her with a kiss.
And that night, Seo Jae-yi realized how strong and resilient her body truly was.
And how dangerous an aroused Baek Joo-won could be.
It was a night of perilous pleasure, teetering on the edge of oblivion.
【Title: Do you guys know Firestarter is selling dungeon plants again?】
【Firestarter closed down her shop, Bulkkotgil, right? She’s reopening, but it seems like it’s not at the same location? I went to check a while ago, and it was still closed, a complete mess.
I’m curious where she’ll be selling them. I’m ready with my money. Please sell them to me! I’ll travel anywhere in Korea for those dungeon plants!
Seriously, once you’ve tasted dungeon plants, you can never go back to subjugating dungeons without them… Make sure you buy them when she reopens.】

OMG! She’s reopening?! Where?! You should have included the address! Tell us!
└ |OP|: It seems like she’s working with the Association? Check the Association website.
└ Wow, it’s true… I thought Firestarter and the Association (and the Center) were on bad terms…? I never imagined they would collaborate…
└ The Association must have gotten a taste of those dungeon plants. They’re too good to refuse, even for Firestarter!
└ Agreed. They’re ridiculously convenient. -
Do you guys know Bulkkotgil was shut down because of that bastard JWS? His retaliation was so petty. ㅠㅠ My paired Guide was injured because we had to go on a subjugation without dungeon plants because of him. Rot in jail, you bastard.
└ What?! Seriously?! That’s pathetic, Woo-seok. ㅠㅠㅠㅠ
└ Wow, what a crazy bastard. So many people have suffered because of him… I’m so glad she’s reopening… -
??? Guys, the Association just made an official announcement… They’re selling the dungeon plants… in a dungeon…? In Gapyeong…? Near the village where Firestarter overloaded…? It’s a Fixed dungeon…
└ ??????????
└ ???????????????????
└ What?! They’re selling dungeon plants in a dungeon?!
└ That’s insane! Firestarter, ignoring all the dangers of a dungeon and setting up shop there… What a boss.
└ Seriously, only someone as fearless as Firestarter could pull that off… Respect…
The Esper Association and Haeil Guild were flooded with inquiries after the announcement about the resumption of dungeon plant sales on the Association’s website.
When would it start? Could they go right away? Were the same plants available?
Haeil Guild issued a statement clarifying that it was Seo Jae-yi’s personal business, completely unrelated to the Guild, and that they wouldn’t be handling any inquiries.
The Association also announced that the sales were for the public good and that Haeil Guild wouldn’t be profiting unfairly from it.
This allayed the concerns of those who had been worried that Haeil Guild was benefiting too much from the dungeon plant sales, despite welcoming their resumption.
A week later.
The official dungeon plant sales began in the Gapyeong forest dungeon.
“Wow. This is… even more impressive than I imagined.”
An Esper, who had rushed to the dungeon and waited in line since morning, exclaimed in surprise as he entered.
He had been here before.
The dungeon had been a jungle of overgrown plants, infested with monsters, with little to offer in terms of rewards.
It had been a dungeon where the effort outweighed the rewards, but it had been completely transformed in such a short time.
‘How did she manage to organize this dungeon? Is this even possible?’
What kind of magic had Firestarter used? Had she burned everything down and then reorganized it?
It was certainly possible.
“This wouldn’t have been possible without the Association’s approval. We can now sell even more plants than before, so please spread the word.”
The Esper nodded dumbly, completely overwhelmed by Seo Jae-yi’s bright smile as she handed him a catalog.
