The Red Phobia Paradox

Lin Yingzhou has a traumatic stress disorder triggered by the color red. That’s why he hates Shen Yusi’s red hair, her red dress, and her lips, so vividly red they burned into his vision.

Even so, Shen Yusi still liked him.

She was always eager to barge into his world, draped in that color red, keeping him teetering on the edge of a panic attack at every moment.

To live a normal life, Lin Yingzhou had no choice but to put on his special glasses again, the ones designed to weaken the color red.

Slowly, he began to grow curious about the colors on her. Time and again, he took off his glasses in front of her.

One day, Shen Yusi dyed her hair black.

The fear he had long suppressed twisted into a reverse craving.

And Lin Yingzhou gradually discovered that she didn’t actually like him that much.

The people she liked were many, many, many… so many.

Lin Yingzhou was a man who perfectly hit every mark on Shen Yusi’s aesthetic scale. His eyes were forever cold and emotionless, yet paired with lips that just looked like they’d be good to kiss.

She could hardly imagine what it would take to stir a ripple in those eyes, or what would push him to do something out of character.

Forget it. She had to try.

From their first meeting to getting together with him, it took Shen Yusi three months.

She soon realized her new boyfriend wasn’t the spotless, upright gentleman he appeared to be.

He had built a massive, luxurious climate-controlled room, housing only a single pet snake. Beyond that was a hidden door. When Shen Yusi pushed it open, she saw a life-sized portrait of herself hanging in the center of the room.

Inside the cabinets were her photos and personal information.

When she pulled open a drawer, several of her fallen red hairs and a short strand of black hair were tied tightly together with a red string.

【Reading Guide】

· The female lead does not dye her hair back to black.
· Most characters in the story like the female lead; it leans toward a “everyone loves me” trope.
· Not a “strong female lead” story. It’s just a sweet romance about love. The career plot is minor.
· College campus setting. The female lead has just come of age at the start of her freshman year. The female lead, male lead, and male supporting characters are all virgins.
· Not suitable for readers with high moral standards for the female lead. The female lead is a good person; she just likes to play and chase new, exciting things. She has kissed male supporting characters. When single, she juggled three potential interests (with more scenes for the male supporting characters). The warnings are clearly stated. Dear readers who are not comfortable with this, please don’t force yourselves.
